Guys, lay off a little. You can't blame them when it's such a close race. I don't agree with any sort of voter count revelations or recounts, both of which may not even work, but their demands aren't that unreasonable in the face of such a tight race. Unreasonable within the context of the caucuses, perhaps, but overall? I don't think they deserve to be attacked for this and all.

I'd like to think that if it were Bernie who won by .4% the Clinton supporters would be the same way. That is just WAY too close.

I don't agree with the Bernie supporters who are claiming Clinton won by cheating though. It was always going to be close, I don't think anyone thought it would be this close, but still.

The reported totals have been verified by the Iowa Democratic Party, who runs the caucuses. It's essentially indisputably over.

You're right, but a .4 is, again, is way too close to not at least release the raw votes.

Really excited for Hillary to hopefully cut into some of Sander's lead in New Hampshire. Would love for her to come within a 10% margin. I think it will be closer than the polls expect. In 2008 she outperformed the polls by 10%. So hopefully her underdog status in New Hampshire mobilizes her volunteers, team, and potential voters.

Yeah it's only for primaries. I mean you could find an estimate for caucuses but for a close race like this you'd want the actual number. Caucuses just don't have those because they never needed to rely on it.

There are "raw vote" counts technically, but in Iowa they're traditionally not reported - I don't even know for sure if they're all reported to the Iowa Dem Party or if it's just delegates, because it seems like the latter.

The Sanders campaign is doing this to keep in the news cycle and, while not outright saying it, to cast a light on the Clinton team as being dishonest in the caucuses. If Sanders were not contesting these results the major media outlets would still solely be focusing on the rise of Rubio, the power of Ted, and the questionability of Trump's campaign. This is purely a political stunt and I do not actually believe the Sanders team believes any delegates would get pushed their way.

I'm sure some of the big precincts may have it but I'm positive not all1600+ precincts can accurately report it

I hope this gets solved soon. Sanders deserves some closure for such a close race but I'm not sure he'll get it

The one thing going for Hillary geographically is that Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire offer the least amount of delegates in any contest up until March 22nd. If she can frame the Bernie momentum as a geographical/neighbor thing then I hope she can secure some of the larger delegate states with large margins

Yeah that's why I'm slightly ecstatic with her positioning even though she'll lose NH. The bigger states happen to be the ones with the most delegates and the ones where she leads by healthy margins. And they are primaries so it's more reliable than caucuses
