No, but in all seriousness, Dreamworks' CEO stated that it would be a conceptual album; the movie is not a musical per se, but Rihanna has recorded at least 12 tracks connected with HOME. Besides, I'm also of the opinion that Dreamworks will ensure the album is highly publicised because of Rih and some promo/money will go into that.

But she hasn't been talking a whole lot about R8, either

Let's see what 2015 brings us because I'm curious to see what her team is going to do: only HOME, a studio album as well, simultaneous promo or promo for HOME first and then for R8? #QuestionsExisting

She singing 12 tracks so..

Wheter Rihanna talks about it or cares about it that doesn't matter cause Dreamworks could still heavily promote the album and the world will pay attention cause it's an album with filled with Rihanna tracks.
