Something happened to me recently that I might never be able to "un-live."
My 77-year-old grandpa, who lives in my town, recently started spending winters in this community for older people in Texas, the same town as my aunt, uncle, and cousin, after my grandma dies two years ago. He's a really nice guy, so immediately after he got there, he made friends with some other old guys, and this group of old ladies too. He came back to Connecticut recently as it started to get (CRAZY) hot in Texas, and he shared with us that he now has "what can only be considered a girlfriend" back in the community. She's his age, and she's coming to visit us sometime next month.
Now I'm happy for him - he's a really nice guy that deserves to be happy - but the way he described her was just... mortifying. He thinks she is "clever... independent...
cute... and SEXY."
They are both 77.
UGGGHHHHH.
I needed to express my discomfort with that.
