Wisdom teeth are the pits.
One of mine is coming in and I feel like I can't eat anything.

Sis, sorry for laughing, but I'm imagining you falling down the one that goes up. I can see you falling down the escalator while being pushed back up the escalator.

Someone special promised me something, and I'll be going over to get it tonight.

My graduation ceremony is in a couple of hours.
I hope I don't have to see him there. I can
NOT handle another awkward reunion.
Him: hey Maven!
Me: oh hey! I didn't know you'd be here?!
Him: I listened to your album after you specifically
told me not to contact you after listening to it!
Me: oh. Well it's nice to see that you still suffer from
that insufferable ... "condition" of yours.
Him:
It's all good though, bitch. I ain't mad.
Yet.

Recently I've been thinking about how my taste in music has evolved and realized how ****ing much I've changed
All I used to listen to was Alternative in 2007 and before. (with some pop)
Now I'm more happy.
I guess I've become more comfortable with myself as a person.

I've gone in the exact opposite direction -- all I used to listen to was pop, and now I pretty much solely listen to alternative and indie.
And I'm glad you're becoming more comfortable with yourself.

Really? That's interesting, I would've never thought that..
And thank you.. now that I've been showing the real side of me for quite a while, it's easier for me to make friends because now everyone takes me as I am.
Except for a few.. some are changing but for the worst.. they're becoming rude and act hipster when I know who they truly are. (since I've known them for quite a while)
Some even judge me because of the music I listen to now. I've always liked Justin but have always been quiet about it, but recently I bought his album and said something among the lines of "his album is amazing, I'm loving it!" And what I got in response was this: http://t.co/FX9dGj4a http://t.co/MUe9kRpK
I asked them if it was a bad thing and they said, "No, I'm just shocked. I'm not mad at you or anything. xD" The first thing I thought was, why would you even be mad at me in the first place.
Sorry for the long ass rant. I vent only so much.

'Tis the truth. I don't like thinking of that time.
People who make judgments based on musical taste are the worst. I can't stand it. It's a really common thing, though. I've had someone call me a pothead merely because I was listening to Bon Iver on my iPod. I was like, "NO."
It's all right, venting is good.

It's okay, let it out.
Who were your main faves? It's weird but cool at the same time knowing that you used to love pop because you've told me how many bands you listen to now.. I'm interested.
And exactly. I would never judge anyone because of what they listen to, that's like judging them for who they are and what they stand for.
It's even worse when your friends do it because sometimes you expect there to be boundaries, especially since you guys are FRIENDS and are supposed to respect each other's opinions because you like to see each other happy. This is the second time one of my friends have said something about one of my faves, and it's getting beyond annoying. Why would you diss my taste in music, when the music I listen to always makes me happy?

I was sort of obsessed with Lady Gaga in 2009, going into 2010. I joined Gaga Daily (a Gaga fansite/forum) in the very beginning of 2010 and became an active poster and made lots of friends in the fan community.
But once I met a friend who showed me indie music, I became less and less interested in Gaga, and completely immersed myself in alternative stuff...for weeks, I downloaded gigabytes and gigabytes of music...it was a good experience for me, and I really changed as a person, probably for the better.
I can't really stand Gaga anymore. It's not that I don't like her, it's just that it reminds me too much of my past, and how naive I used to be...I try not to think of the past. I don't like my past.
I still log onto Gaga Daily every once and a while just to check on things, but of course it's never the same.
I'm good with my Fleet Foxes and Band of Horses. Their music (and other indie/alternative stuff) has really shaped me as a person. And it really works as a muse with me and my writing... (I write a lot... I don't know if I've ever told you. )
And that's exactly it; music is all about what you like -- what makes you happy, what makes you sad, what gets you thinking...and it's different from person to person.

I can relate. Sometimes I came off as vain or shallow because I'd like to trick myself into thinking I was confident. A lot of the time, I was very insecure.. but now I'm open about my (few) insecurities and I'm actually more confident.. (so I guess I'm really just vain sometimes?.. ) it's really just confusing, I become confused everytime I even try to explain it.
Whenever anyone brings something up about when I was younger, I block everything out because I didn't like myself back then and I HATE admitting that. I HATE admitting that my persona was fake, and that I was ashamed of who I really was.
I can't believe you were a Gaga Daily member let alone, a Gaga stan. Do you listen to atleast a little pop now? I'm just a bit curious, it's perfectly fine if you don't.

I want to burn my past, but alas, I cannot. I can try, though.
I understand your confusion...
We're so similar...which is why we're going to Neptune together.
Yes, Gaga Daily....although it sounds cheesy, it sort of helped me find myself. It kind of lost its gleam once I stopped obsessing over pop, though. I joined ATRL at the tail end of my "pop music phase."
And I listen to Beyonce and Rihanna, sometimes. Ke$ha is also cool.

I've been loading this page for 5mins+
Anyways, of course! That's why you're one of my faves. Btw, you never picked me up that one day though.
And I get what you're saying.. you better not leave anytime soon though. Alright you said Rihanna, that's more than amazing. Your taste is obviously A+.
