I picked Railroad Records because it allows me to push myself to step outside of my comfort zone, which so far has proved to work for me.
"Due to his rising status in the music industry, he wants a song he can perform in front of arenas on tour and get people singing along."
Makes me think a little bit of Queen "We Will Rock You" but with better lyrics. Queen doesn't fit the genre though unless I ignore the "Americana/country" aspect and focus on rock.
"Still, he wants to keep the rootsy Americana feel of his first album. Possible themes could include the American West, roadtrips, travelling, nature, cowboys, robbery, or being the bad guy in town. Conversely, he's also looking for a slow, smoky midtempo to mature his image and woo his female audience."
The bold really appeal to me.
"Just like the last time around, he's looking for acclaim over a #1 hit, and he hates cliches. This record is inspired by country and rock greats of the past."
Cliches will be hard to avoid as they can often be used without realising. This is where sending to others comes in I guess.
