I honestly don't think that we'll even get a lead single this year. Knowing Gaga, she'll announce the album title in September of this year and then announce an album release date of August 28th, 2013.

If it's an EP, I can't tell how successful it'll be but I believe the public will treat it like an own album so therefore it should do just as well.

The reason TFM was such a strong album was that Gaga followed the tried-and-true MJ and Madonna model of short track listings -- which I am assuming then was simply a function of LP recording capacity -- where the material has to fight for its place on the record. This is the format that she needs to stick to. Would Thriller be remembered as fondly if there were five more tracks of junk on it? Maybe, but not likely.

That's a good point. I don't think she should add songs in there just for filler or for effect. Every song needs to have a reason.

If she's doing an EP, then I have no doubts it'll be like that. If she does a full album, I'm not sure, but I also hope she'll tone it down with the amount of songs and choose the right ones.

I'd be happy with Gaga's album selling around 500K first week and ending up with around 2M in the US These are great numbers considering not many people buy pop albums anymore.
