Knee used a lot of dirty tactics to attain those "diamond" albums.
e.g. Club Sales and not releasing singles to physical to drive album sales.
A Mariah cheating tea, but with albums instead of singles.
That tactic was used by many popular artists in the 90s, early 00s. No one forced people to buy the album. They obviously thought it was worth their $14.99. Not a scam.

At least Kehlani will have a released album to speak of. Tinashe, Zara, Dua whoever can all stay rotting in shelved hell.
Tinashe already had her debut album 2 years ago and has been doing yearly releases due to her annual mixtapes. She's not shelved like Dua/Zara/Rita. I can only hope Kehlani can deliver as much as Nightride did.
