It was once my favourite time of the year. Longer days, bbq's, going to the lake with the family, hanging out with friends, sunburns and happiness.
None of that happens anymore. It's either too cold, too wet, the park's closed, someone's sick. Ugh.
We all just sit around and drink. Everyone's bitchy.
We use to have weekly family bbq's. We haven't had one in almost four years.
I know how you feel.. me and my family always used to celebrate fourth of July and paid each other a lot of visits during summer but it just stopped.
And my friends always seem busy now but I guess it's because we're all growing up and we have to start getting ready for college.
Instead of waiting around for people I started doing things by myself and with one of my friends. Best I could say is find a fun activity that'll make time pass by.
this is my favorite time of the year. (July-November specifically)
I talk like that to all my atrl friends. We drag each other for fun.
