Poltergeist was too similar to Insidious to me.

The way they brought in the ghost buster people like Insidious did. What hit the nail on the head was how the TV in Poltergeist represented another dimension IMMEDIATELY reminded me of The Further from Insidious. The daughter was trapped in another dimension just like the soon from Insidious, etc.

Still a good watch tho.

The TV Dimension thing didn't come from Insidious, it came from the original Poltergeist

I think the ghost hunting team was just away to modernize the film but I'll agree with you that it wasn't necessary. The psychic from the original was way more impactful than this TV crew in the remake.

Just finished The Human Centipede 3. The first hour was boring af, the last 40 minutes were pretty hilarious and trashy. I'm surprised at the centipede being so well thought actually. And that happy end...
Better than last two movies. 5/10

PS. Oh, and the human caterpillar was more disturbing than the centipede

I'm really interested in this. I hope we get another viral video like the Carrie coffee shop prank and the Devil's Due baby in NYC. Maybe people could go to a new restaurant and be told their food is made of human meat or something. Would be a really clever way to market the movie.

The Halloween remake is also great. I was pleasantly surprised. The Halloween II remake was one of the worst films I've ever seen, though.

I need Netflix suggestions. I chanced it once and watched The Babadook and now I hate myself.
