"Bad Christian." I don't think anything bugs me more than that phrase.
First of all, you have no right to tell someone what their religion is (even if that person was a genocidal maniac).
Second, who are you to decide whether or not someone is a "good" or "bad" Christian (whatever in the **** that means)? I'm not sure what your religion is, but I'm assuming it's some branch of Christianity -- Aren't Christians always talking about how it's "up to god to judge people"?
Thirdly, it feels like you're acting as if Christianity or Islam aren't violent religions in their roots, or like they're "good" when it comes down to it. In reality,
all Abrahamic religions are extremely violent in their roots, and this can be seen rather clearly in their scriptures.
I'm not going to say that Christianity is "bad," because that would contradict what I just said, but seriously...
While religion doesn't determine someone's "ethics," it certainly shows a lot about their character and what they're willing to associate themselves with (whether they're civil rights activists or power-hungry crazies).
