I guess in the sense that his contributions helped Pink be re-introduced almost to the public, it did show the hits he can produce but I think the way you explained it came off as a bit delusional stan sort of "pink created his career" at first

Sis, we're still talking in terms of "hits". Contribution to a career doesn't just mean contribution to the commercial success in one's career. Contribution to a career can also mean contribution to the artistic quality of one's career, and that's really my thing. "Hits" are all well and good, but only insofar as they help an artist get noticed. Linda helped P!nk flourish as an artist - or to put it differently, Linda contributed to the quality of P!nk's music. So in that sense - the important sense as far as I'm concerned - Linda made an indelible contribution to P!nk's career.

Now, as it happens - as I said above - ironically Linda did contribute massively to P!nk's commercial success because she was responsible for the majority of M!ssundaztood, which was far from a flop.

I honestly think M!ssundaztood is overrated. Apart from the singles + "18 Wheeler", "Numb", "Dear Diary" and the title track, I think the rest is a bit... forgettable. I think it's my least favourite album of hers actually, INCLUDING her debut which I actually love. (Awaiting the hate)
