Yes but Bowie's Blackstar and his death just too big to be ignored. Unless Bey died too
Sis Blackstar is barely remembered at this point, NO shade and NO disrespect to the dead. Was his death impactful and sad? Yes but not on the "Everyone bought and is still buying this album/it's made a huge impact in popular culture post-mortem/it's sales are incredible give it AOTY" level

No offense but Blackstar is the real threat. It's either him or Bey for the win. 25 might get nomination but honestly the album not a real contender.

Beck wasn't either. And ST was an even bigger phenomenon than Lemonade. That's not how AOTY works.
This is even better than Kanye MBDTF album. This is the best album of this decade, it's the ****ing ****. It's whole, it's important. You can't get enough of it and you must hear it from start to finish. A+++.
The album is good but not even better than ST or B'day, the critics are biased on literally hype
These haters are so transparent. Always some excuse. When Self-Titled garnered rave reviews, all of a sudden you all LOVED "4" and claimed how it was better and the only reason Self-Titled was universally acclaimed was because of the hype of the surprise as if these critics wouldn't have bashed her if the music was mediocre and did not live up to the hype. Now she has outdone herself compared to her previous album and now yall like ST. lol. Please.
