The idea that having a female sexed body makes you a woman is a dicey one to begin with. There are plenty females out there who have had their breasts removed or their ovaries removed and so on and so forth nd they're no less women than anyone else. Yeah, that's right, you can have your sexual organs removed and that doesn't make you less of a man or a woman, because you can't change your chromosomes, and that's what makes you a man or a woman.

And how is Bruce's situation ANYTHING like what you just said? He isn't choosing to be a female. He literally said he has always known in his mind that he's a female.

What determines if you are a male or a female is sex, not gender. I know his gender is female, but his sex is male, therefore he is a male.

I know it isn't a choice, I just used the word because the person I answered to used it. But you just can't "always know in your mind you are something different than your assignation sex", because sex is something genetical and phisical, not mental.

Being a man =/= being male.

Bruce is male and will always be male. She is however a woman. People need to learn how to separate gender, which is a social construct, from sex. Think critically. There's a reason why we call it gender pronouns and not sex pronouns.
