I gotta admit....
...only yesterday I, for the very first time in my 15 years of standom,songs from her first three albums (apart from some exclusive singles) actually got to me. Too bad, my votes have been sent. But I just thought WOW yesterday. I've tried for years and years to get into those first three albums and nothing. Now all of a sudden I see some light.
(I still wish the production would be less cheesy 90s, though. It really ages the songs.)

BY THE WAY,
how do you guys like the idea of rating "Infinity" as well? Like, the deadline for rates is in may, right? So, we would have at least one week to listen to the song and rate it and see where it places (we can still put an asterix on it, because it's so new.)

I thought about this. I feel like people won't be able to really give a fair score in such a short time (because they'll be hyped to have new music), but I'm still thinking about it and haven't made up my mind either way

Maybe I will. Deadline is sometime middle of may, right? Some os these tracks have really hit me these past two days.
the "Infinity"-rating:
That's what I meant with the asterix. I mean, it's one song. The songs behind it (let's hope we will rate it in front of some songs) won't actually suffer and these days the stans usually are so devided there's hardly any chance it would take the crown. #
It would just be ccol to see where it places.
the lessor songs winning:
Now, Darling, I take some pride in being part of a fanbase that cherishes an artist who has body of work so vast and diversive that fans are split up in, like, various groups.

That happens when people intentionally sabotage good songs (and they know that) and inflate the scores of not so good songs (and they know that) in order to compensate the supposed bad ratings it will get. So if everybody does this, the good song will fall behind while the bad song will stay on top.
With this I mean that people should give honest scores, not a 10 because it's ok but underrated or a 5 because it is too popular and don't want it to win etc...

Oh yes, I see. That's a good idea then. It'll just fall where it falls but won't be given a number. Also, I may not get scores from everybody; those that already submitted may not feel like it/may be offline/may have jumped ship, etc. But I'll try to get as many as possible!

I know  I wish everyone would give things fair ratings, but of course they can't be forced to do so. When a random Rainbow album track wins, people better know to come for each other and not me, just because I'm hosting!

No! I just know that I don't remember that particular song. It's from Rainbow though, and everything that I gave less than a 5 to on there just sort of blends into the same song.
Oh, I didn't give it a decent score then? I just re-listened, and... Well, I like the instrumental. It sounds like a Glitter demo.

Also the only score adjustments I've really done are bumping down the obvious singles winners like fantasy and abmb down a few points, nothing drastic! Hopefully a worthy track will manage to climb its way to the top eventually

to be a worthy track, then I guess you could be right
