Previously on Survivor: ATRL Editoon (Season 4), the 24 (soon to be 23) remaining castaways returned to camp to further defend their place in the game. Round 2 had the castaways sending in songs about broken parent-child relationships. Overall, most contestants made leaps and bounds in terms of their scores. During the tiebreaker round, it was gotintoririfever1 who was victorious making Qatari Monster the first castaway to be eliminated. In the end, Tribe Adranaha redeemed themselves while Tribe Bonbondi & Tribe Brilando both headed to their first Tribal Councils. At the Brilando Tribal Council, it was Cristhian who was unanimously voted out becoming the second fallen castaway. Soon after, Bonbondi experienced their first Tribal Council where Lucky#17 & MusicLoverDude tied in votes resulting in the second future tiebreaker of the season. Welcome castaways to Round 3 of Survivor: ATRL Edition (Season 3)! Now that we all seem to have the jist of the game down, let's continue on.
The theme for Round 3 is...
A Thousand Miles
This round we move back into the theme of love. The focus of this round is long distance relationships. Your song should be about a long distance relationship where your artist expresses missing their significant other. The lyrics should clearly display that. Some of you are still taking one line that fits and trying to make it define the entire song. Overall, last round was a mass improvement so I think most of you should perform well once again.
The example song for this round is "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton off her debut album "Be Not Nobody". The song's lyrics express Vanessa longing for the return of her lover who she has been separated from.
