She never left us... just take "All good things(come to an end)" and "In God's hands"... or the fabulous "What I wanted"... even "Affraid" and "Say it right" has a lot of the old Nelly in it! She's just more sofisticated...more upfront...
The only two songs where you can see a different Nelly is "Promiscuous" and "Maneater"... (specially the video from "Maneater")... but, that's a side of her she never expressed or a side of her that went growing for these past years...
She will be always the sweet Nelly we've all know... that's why she's so respected in the business...
