1. She didn't get dropped, she left!
2. You can't be talking about Spin the Music, because it only had two videos to promote it and they don't look nothing like LOL…

I think it might have been FLASH era then, it was like...dark room, minimal props, really grungy looking walls & floor, just like "hah we're just giving you this even though you've got an album coming out" feeling to it. Which i wasn't really okay with.

I know Kuu is a commodity but I don't want them to start shortchanging her, is all.

Like I totally get "Show Me Your Holla" being done that way for style reasons & I think the simplicity looks super cool for it (especially with Beyoncé being on the tip of everyone's tongue again). I'm down for that!

but it seems like her videos are either getting cheaper in general or just being kind of mismanaged. "LA LA LA LA LA" looks GORGEOUS and probably didn't require much more cost than the travel - if they're gonna go low budget, why not make it count?

Whereas a song like "Touchdown" or "LOL" deserves a bit more than, like, a generic empty room with some back dancers. That could work for a "dance version" but I reckon she could find like a street with some interesting grafitti or something to at least pose in front of for scenes, etc.

Flash is such an underrated song.

I'd like to think of Busy Doing Nothing as a buzz guilty pleasure single and her real debut single is some urban ***** pop club banger that features somebody high profile like Flo or Kanye. I mean, what exactly was she trying to serve with that?

My crystal ball says Bon Voyage will do fine. I think she can snatch the #1 spot, but it will have difficulties to maintain significant longevity on the charts. We'll see. At this point in her career what mostly matters is the music and not chart positions anymore.

Well, what most people are forgetting is that "Busy Doing Nothing" was done independently! No label, no support aside from her fans, and all it is doing IS generating buzz in the US. To me, I REALLY like the song, but I am expecting there to be better songs along the way!
