I've been watching FFXII videos recently and god, it was the ****ing PEAK wasn't it?

The story wasn't as good as it could have been but everything else was A+. How did a PS2 game look that good?





Honestly more visually impressive than FFXIII and XV.

Seymour was kind of hot. Like in the middle of doing it you think he might kill you, but you continue anyway.

Hm, that was kind of iconic. Can't wait to see Shiva.

The only summon that I liked in that game was Hope's massive wall.

FFXII is a visually gorgeous game that is fantastic. It literally made the PS2 go out with a bang. There is a reason it has the second highest metascore of the Final Fantasy games. It's a shame Matsuno had to bow out as early as he did - Tactics is one of the greatest games ever made in my book.

Yeah, idk if Final Fantasy can ever top Tactics ever again in terms of story. A shame they're pretending the Tactics series doesn't exist.

A shame about that localization lol. Wonderful soundtrack and good character concepts. The battle system was very fun and I liked learning new additions. It was interactive.

After FFX and FFX-2, which games in the series should I play? I want to play FFVII, but I don't know if I could get into it as much with its graphics.

FFVIII maybe? Should I do the XIII trilogy or XII, or? PSN has IX, and that's loved in the fanbase.

XIII series is dirt cheap at this point. lol. VIII is my personal favorite Final Fantasy but it is very divisive. I'd just say look at the first ten minutes or so of the games you are interested in. That'll help you decide early on.

Be sure to try out VI at some point - it's very good (don't buy it on the PSN though).

If you loved X and X2, go ahead and get IX.

And yeah, if you wanna play FF4, 5, or 6, then don't get the PSN versions of them unless you have NO choice

You can skip FF1-3 if you want. They're really nothing special, even though I have soft spot for 2

I spent so much of my life on FF12. Literally 300+ hours.

I almost failed my senior year because I would stay up until like 6am playing it. Doing the markhunts and trying to 100% everything was so tediously fun.



I want them to release it on the playstation store.

I think I'll buy a PS4 in 2016. The Witcher 3 will be out by then, Final Fantasy XV probably will be, and TES VI may even be released by Christmas 2016.

Can someone give me a list of some of the good JRPG titles for PS3? I'm really lost beyond Final Fantasy.
