I used to feel like that, but maybe Liam is just really protective of Miley. Considering there were two naked people in her car.

Plus if he was abusive, I feel like Tish would know about it. And if Tish knew about it, Billy would know about it, and **** would go down. I think Miley's one of those girls who get blinded by love, but if she was getting hit then we would probably see some evidence. It's not like she wears makeup regularly.

On that note, I think I might actually be semi-excited if she were engaged. As long as she puts off the wedding until she's 20+, it could be a good PR move as well. The hype would be huge for two faces of massive franchises (Hunger Games & HM) to be getting married. And it's not like marriage has a track record of ruining careers. See: Teenage Dream, I Am Sasha Fierce, etc. And if Miley's happy, I'll support her decisions. As long as her career comes first.

One of Hollywood's most outspoken supporters of gay marriage and LGBT equality, Miley Cyrus has taken to Twitter to once again stand up for this important cause.

Cyrus - who actually wrote an editorial on the issue and also has a tattoo that expresses her beliefs - posted a photo on the social network yesterday that includes a close-up of her "favorite accessory of the day."

Along with this button, Miley included the hashtag #stopspreadinhate.



Love Miley or hate Miley - and THG has certainly taken issue with some of her wardrobe choices and transparent attempts to break free from her Hannah Montana persona - you've gotta admire a celebrity for taking a controversial stand.

Cyrus also did so last month when she said parents ought to talk to their kids about sex

Controversy comes in all sizes shapes, and forms. In recent months, weeks and days, we have been fed one celebrity controversy or another simply to build the value of a radio show, television broadcast or newspaper; and that’s ok as long as it’s real and important. I mean, not everything that a mega star does should be represented as news. Nevertheless, as long as we the viewer or listeners are buying, media businesses will keep selling.

As I sift through some of the more recent celebrity controversial moments and events, I can’t help but to laugh a bit because for the most part, they are funny. I mean, look at Kim Kardashian; she puts on a fake wedding and we all are surprised over this so-called controversy that we break our necks, and of course we break rating records just to catch a glimpse of the goddess in small bit role on a show many of us have never watched. I’m talking about “drop dead diva.”

Than you take Justin Bieber. He gets into an apparently minor altercation with a photographer and immediately following this so-called assault, we hear that Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is investigating the pop star as if it’s some major interruption in his life. No, it’s not. The altercation is merely some everyday type incident. You go to the mall; someone blocks your car as you are trying to leave; you get out and have some words and then you’re off to your next destination. It’s that simple.

Next we hear that Miley Cyrus is anorexic simply because we see some picture of her that looks as though she is not eating three meals a day. What a life.

Then there is the so called Diddy controversy where some are complaining that because the music mogul has amassed great wealth, it is unfair for his son, Justin Combs, to get a free ride (scholarship) at UCLA. What a controversy. I’ll take this one any day.

Finally, this week, we were introduced to the recent Gwyneth Paltrow controversy. Word is that she tweeted the N-Word. Well what she did is tweet a picture of her on stage at the Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Watch the Throne” concert in Paris with the letters “Ni**as in paris for real @mrteriusnash (the dream) tyty, beehigh http://say.ly/ySc3rTP.” The tweet was referring to the duo’s hit single. And Paltrow immediately clarified this fact. No Controversy.

But if it’s recent celeb controversy you’re looking for, you don’t need to go any further than the Nicki Minaj, Funkmaster Flex episode that occurred this past Sunday at Hot 97’s Summer Jam. Funkmaster Flex angrily said the following: “Tune in to me tomorrow at 7 o’clock. I’m gonna ruin a career.” Now that statement seems to me to be quite controversial. It almost sounds life threatening if I did not know any better. The Funkmaster was upset over the fact that Nicki Manaj did not show up for the annual hip-hop festival despite being billed as one of its headliners. No I don’t know about you, but it sounds like a legal dispute. But I’ll continue because if you don’t already know (most of this is at nj.com), Minaj’s boss at Young Money Entertainment, Lil Wayne, learned about a comment made about a Minaj song by Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg right before Summer Jam began. The comment upset Lil Wayne to the extent that he prohibited all the artists on his label from performing at the concert. Ok now you get it, this is a real controversy.

Need I continue down this line of reason any further? I don’t think so. I think that you are smart enough to get it now.

These are the only things that have come out so far....Maybe its the Anti-Homophobia thing?

I think the dislike stems from how he "made Miley delete her Twitter" ages ago. That and apparently none of Miley's friends like Liam, and how he's supposedly some big pothead. I don't like pretending I know a lot about Miley's life though. I hope she's happy with him and I'll support him as long as he makes her happy.
