It must be an awful feeling for Kesha but the court ruling seems pretty solid to me. First of all there's no evidence of the allegations of Kesha being assaulted and second Kesha did sign that contract so whatever terms and conditions that Sony had in-place is valid. The only time courts would intervene would be something like a personal assault with evidence or an attack of Kesha's personal rights and Sony rejecting her recordings isn't exactly either of those. Either way Kesha has a long fight since she's dealing with corporates and their lawyers.

TL; DR Kesha needs evidence of her allegations to make a strong case.

Justice to who?

Making a media circus out of something isn't going to change justice system. Based on the way the justice system works and the lack of evidence provided, Kesha not being released from her contract is justice being served as harsh as it sounds.

OJ's case was taken to trial because there was reasonable evidence to have him convicted.

There is none in this case, especially when Kesha herself denied the exact same allegations now in a deposition 5 years ago. I realize people are getting emotional about this because it's their fave Pop star or whatever reason, but people don't understand a court can't just ignore due process and legally intervene and break a $60 million contract based on heresy or because someone is emotionally distressed by it when they agreed to the terms when it was initiated.

Unfortunately, their will be no overruling of the courts decision so i hope none of the animals are heckling the courts.

However, they MAY be able to get Sony to rip up her contract, if they protest enough.

I highly doubt they're gonna do that, because this goes beyond Kesha. Sony is not gonna set the precedence that all their artists has to do get out of their contracts is cry to public and start a media fire storm. They might distance themselves from luke and actual promote kesha's next **** so looks good, but they are not letting her get out of her contract unless they're legally forced too.

True, but they would HAVE to fully support her if they want her fans to support them as a label.

I don't think they really care about her stans supporting their label or not it's just the pr nightmare from the gp they're probably focused on. And even that is not gonna last very long, judging from today. The majority of ppl didn't even care that beyonce was rumored to be resigned to Sony they were just geeked about the possibility of 2 albums.

Michael Jackson couldn't fight Sony, I doubt Kesha has a chance.
