There is another future waiting there for you
I saw it different, I must admit
I caught a glimpse, I'm going after it
They say people never change, but that's bull****, they do
Yes I'm changing, can't stop it now
At 17 is Yes I'm Changing. Nothing really much to say here beyond the title He's moving on forward, leaving things behind (past relationships, eras, etc) and encouraging self-love & acceptance of fate. I do love the production here and slow pace.
Y'all really think this is better than Reality in Motion, The Moment or 'Cause I'm a Man?
lol right.
yes i'm changing does capture the message of the album (and the way it could be addressing both a lover or kevin's own music as a part of a changing relationship) but the song itself is in currents' lower half, easily
You got it, I armed it, you dreamt it, I start it
You're missin' the target, what more can you ask me for?
You want it, my dearly departed
I cocked back and shot it, what more can you ask me for?
At 16 is surf, another collaboration with Kilo Kish. It's rather short but good. It's about the aftermath of friend's death and how he describes going through emotions & feelings by "surfing". Maybe he's out for revenge, maybe he's griefing. I didn't really expect this to be near top 15
