I've never practiced leaking anything more than 2 weeks before it's release... except Femme Fatale and that's because I was admittedly pressed.
Honestly, I haven't even had the opportunity to "leak" anything in several months because opportunity hasn't presented itself.
Still, leaks rarely hurt sales. It has to be a good amount of time in advanced. If people like it, they will buy it. It all boils down to how it's promoted.
