Yeah, me too. Mickey, Ian, and Svetlana are the best three characters for me. Remove Mickey from the equation and the other two's storyline potential suffers.

yesterday i finished the season... it was a great finale tho..i would hope for something over the top... as a whole season it was great tho ..love it <3

Actually, his storyline is what carried the last season. If you read IMDB, most of the people pointed that out. Anyway, You can tell Cameron hates playing gay. I think he hates the character Ian period and wants out. I'm okay with that because I loathe actors who play gay, especially when I know they hate it. I don't think Cam. is essential to the role of Ian, so they can just hire a look alike.


I think last season was pretty obvious that some big characters were leaving. This is a showtime show, right? they usually **** shows up by the 4,5 season. Look at Weeds and Nurse Jackie.

I feel like Shameless will last longer than Gotham, but that Shameless will be cancelled soon as well. I can't see it going past 7 seasons.

This is off topic but did Gotham get better because when I tried to watch the first part of the season it was awful. Didn't think it had a bright future tbqh.


It wouldn't surprise me if they did get rid of Ian and Mickey tbh, their storylines are pretty much over at this point and it was only a matter of time before we started seeing at least one of the older family members go their own way.

I don't care what the people on IMDB have to say, his storyline bored me to tears because it got so repetitive after episode 3 or 4, and that storyline about stealing suitcases was just a time waster. Not as tedious as Fiona's love triangle storyline, but bad nonetheless.

What did save the season from being a complete trainwreck was Frank & Bianca's storyline. It seemingly didn't go anywhere at first, but it gave Frank character development, and it gave the season some much needed dramatic heft, as it was mostly comedic in tone, which didn't work for the show at all.

They should have made Ian kill himself last season. That way they wouldn't have to butcher Ian/Mickey storyline.

Shameless is an American television comedy-drama which airs on Showtime. This remake of the award-winning British series is set in Chicago's Canaryville neighborhood on the South Side, although filmed in Los Angeles, with the exterior scenes filmed in Chicago. The series depicts the dysfunctional family of Frank Gallagher, a single father of six children. While he spends his days drunk, his kids learn to take care of themselves.

Basically: Frank (the dad) is drunk and selfish, Fiona (the big sister) is the adult, but make very bad decisions, Lip (the big brother) is the smart and the most promising one, Ian (the gay brother) is cool and gets interesting as the show goes by, Debbie (the young sister) is nice, but becomes annoying as the show goes by, Carl (the young brother) is crazy as **** and Liam (the baby brother) is cute. The supporting cast is also really great.

The show is comedy and drama at it's best. My advice for you is: start watching right now, get addicted and stay away from the original UK show.
