Noble Peace Prize Concert Dec 11, 2011
So hopefully they'll actually play some songs from the new album (unlike their recent Kimmel performance), especially My Heart is Broken since that song was inspired by sex trafficking and Lost in Paradise and The Change..

OSLO, NORWAY, November 25, 2011 – Nobel Peace Prize Concert organizers announced today that Rosario Dawson will join Helen Mirren to host the 18th annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert on Sunday, December 11th in Oslo, Norway.
The Concert will feature previously announced artists including Sugarland, David Gray, Jill Scott, Janelle Monáe, Matthew Morrison, Ellie Goulding, Evanescence, Bernhoft, World Youth Choir and the Nobel laureates’ personal selections of Miatta Fahnbulleh, Angelique Kidjo and Ahmed Fathi.
This year’s Nobel Peace Prize Concert will honor laureates Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkol Karman, for what the Norwegian Nobel Committee calls “their non-violent struggle for the safety of women and for women’s rights to full participation in peace-building work.”
The award is given annually for work exemplifying a spirit of hope and leadership that will help promote peace in the world. The Concert is presented by the Nobel Peace Prize Concert AS and broadcast to a global audience.
“Helen and Rosario will be wonderful hosts and ambassadors of peace,” said Geir Lundestad, Secretary of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. “We welcome these talented artists from around the world and look forward to a memorable evening that honours and celebrates these remarkable laureates.”
The Nobel Peace Prize is the most prestigious award in the world, honoring icons such as Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Mikhail Gorbachev, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Barack Obama, Kofi Annan, Al Gore and other remarkable individuals and organizations. For the past seventeen years, the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony has been followed the next day by the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, a musical celebration honoring the laureate.

Also, they're going to play with an orchestra backing them. I hope it's not going to be Billboard Awards 2.0 ...here's hoping for the best

In any case, the set list was as follows:
Bring Me To Life
Lithium
My Immortal
My Heart Is Broken
Lost In Paradise
Secret Door
I'm pretty sure that's the order they were played in as well, but I'm a wee bit iffy on that as well. They did LiP and Secret Door twice because Amy wasn't 100% happy with the way they came out, and they had trouble tuning the harp. Either way, they both sounded amazing.
The Q&A wasn't too bad, but she didn't exactly reveal anything earth shattering. One person asked about the harp on the live tour, and while Amy said it wouldn't be impossible, it would be hard as those things apparently drop out of tuning really easily.
The arrangements on the songs weren't too different, and for the most part Amy left the notes as is (with a couple of notable exceptions...she took the first high note in MHIB down a notch). Regardless, she sounded as powerful as I have ever heard her. People that worked there were walking through the hallways and stopping to stare. Lou Brutus, the host of the show, was like gushing over how incredible she sounded. I always thought the AOL acoustic sessions from the TOD era were amazing, but in my honest opinion this really puts those ones to shame. LiP is an emotional song as it is, but it sounded so incredibly raw here; the emotion Amy was putting into it, I could have sworn she was about to cry. It was great.
I really hope this motivates them to do a full acoustic session sometime in the future, because hearing the songs stripped down like this only emphasizes the emotion in the music and the lyrics tenfold.
It was a great experience, and worth the train ride and the rain. I really hope they release this for purchase. We might have to bug Lou Brutus via Facebook and Twitter and see if he can't pull some strings
I wish I had pics for you guys, but take my word for it, if any of you are Sirius subscribers, find a way to listen to the show. It will be well worth the trouble!!!

I know their one song " Bring Me To Life" Just slays my soul.
I was playing Guitar Hero when I discovered this song.
It ***** hard though.
I don't know if this has any relevance to this thread, I just wanted to share my interest for the song.
