Here's what you can expect on this week's countdown, for the week ending July 31, 2010:
- Daughtry has been a fan favorite on the countdown for quite some time. His last video, for the single "Life After You" made it all the way to #1 on the countdown earlier this year. Now the man and his band is back with "September." Also debuting this week are the new music videos for Nicki Minaj, Taio Cruz and Mumford & Sons.
- Adam Lambert and Sara Bareilles both took substantial hits last week, and both nearly fell off the countdown. But this week their fan bases came out strong in support of their fallen stars, and this week "If I Had You" and "King of Anything" make impressive jumps back in the top 10.
- And finally, B.o.B. is looking to tie Ke$ha for most weeks at #1 by an artist in 2010 (7 weeks) with "Airplanes." And he has a pretty good chance, seeing as how we have a new #1 video this week. Was B.o.B able to take the top spot from Katy Perry, or was Paramore able to get the #1 spot in only their 2nd week on the countdown?
