Capitol Records has confirmed to Billboard that it will release "Part of Me" Monday (Feb. 13) as the first single from Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection" album. The label is releasing the song digitally in the iTunes Store and will go for airplay at pop radio.

I think POM was kept off the album because they always intended to use it as a lead single for a re-release. It was way too polished for just a demo.
