I got my brother and his girlfriend into Dragon Ball Z recently. One night I was watching DBZ on Toonmai and they decided to watch it with me and now we have been watching the episodes online. First I got them into Attack On Titan and now DBZ.
Speaking of Toonami, The anime of 2014, Akame Ga Kill, comes to Toonami in one week! Hopefully the voices don't suck. Anime of 2014 coming for English dub anime of 2015.
If you're slaying by Stein Gates by episode 4 then just wait until you get to like episode 9 I think from what I have heard and my own experience, Stein Gates is known for its meh beginning
I thought the beginning of S;G was amazing just like the rest of the anime. The characters are so great and diverse that the show was still interesting when there wasn't much happening. S;G is one of the funniest animes I have watched because of the characters...and it's not that tacky comedy you see in most anime [for the most part].
And other than that, I just thought the whole premise of S;G was interesting to begin with, so I was personally never bothered by the slow start.
