What I meant wasn't about needing a hit. Hence I first wrote 'another song' then followed it with 'another hit'. What I was trying to say is I'm happy about a new Rihanna song and I could care less how it sounds, it being a hit is just a bonus. I would eat anything with Rihanna on it. That's my point. Lackluster song or not, Rihanna's voice will save it (well at least for me).
I was never picky about quality when it comes to Rihanna cause I know she always delivers. I wouldn't doubt her especially after her tweet. Since GGGB, the only song that lacks quality for me was Raining Men. But I still love me that song.

I get that we're all excited. I am too but we haven't even heard a snippet yet or received lyrics. . Just because two big names are on a song doesn't mean its amazing or will be number 1 immediately.

Im excited in a way but im not expecting anything huge tbh.
I'm not that excited for The Monster. A new Rihanna song is always welcome, but I just don't really like Eminem.
You're not alone, I literally couldn't care less about this song tbh. The only thing I'm looking forward to is the What Now video assuming it ever gets released.
I'm only excited for it because:
1. It's the fourth (technically third) single, but the first collab/the song that will be the single during the album's debut week. It's bound to get a huge push.
2. It's new Rihanna music. Duh.
3. All the other females have been releasing **** songs so I think she'll have an easy time hitting #1 if it's half as good as LTWYL.
