I had a boy best friend, but we lost contacts after I changed schools and he moved out with his family. And that was 10 years ago. But 3 years ago out of the blue I started thinking about him and before I knew it I felt for him. Big time. He was my first love and my worst love, because I couldn't share my feelings with him. Few months later when my love was already a ball of pain inside my chests I managed found him and contacted him. That time I didn't listen to the radio or watched television at all (not that I'm doing it now) because here the media is airing only music which is big in the US, and they are paying attention to you only if you are famous. I don't like that at all. I want the artist for his talent and work, not because he/she/they made it big in the music industry. Most people are like "He/She is famous. Let's start listen to them".
In the beginning of 2012 I was aware of her 6 Grammy wins but I was like "Good for her, but I'm not going to listen to her just because she won 6 Gs and she's famous".
But in April 2012 I became a stan. Obviously she was everywhere because of the Grammys and the success of 21, but I'm a huge fan of the "... Got Talent" series. And I decided to watch the Royal Variety Show from 2010 and of course she was there with RITD. The comments were "OMG it's Adele", "I love her", "She's great" ect. So I gave up and listened to one of the fake compilated 'Adele Greatest Hits' discs. MESS
She got me with CS and she nailed me as a stan with SLY. With 19 and 21 she brought back to life the dead soul inside of me. She brought me back to my passion and love for music. She became the third british inspiration in my life. And I got the privilege to be part of greatest fan/follower's base ever.

Wouldn't call it a special moment, but 21 actually helped me to get through some rough times. It was in Dec 2011 and my grandma just died. Kind of unexpectedly, she was in the hospital a few times before with some heart probs, but she always went home after a few days. So I thought it wouldn't be different this time. She felt sick some days before, so actually the last conversation we had was me almost yelling at her that next time she would go to the hospital immediately, not so much later. I also forgot to give her my good luck charm, which I ALWAYS gave her, but it was simply too chaotic that time. She spent almost a week in induced coma and then one day my mum just called me she died. All I thought about were those last words I said to her and how mean I was, I literally didn't sleep and eat for days. All I did was playing 21 on repeat and cry. Like, literally. I simply couldn't calm down and forgive myself. I'm actually convinced I wouldn't get through it the way I did if it wasn't for that album, because somehow, Adele's voice made me feel better.
