I loved the Freak Show finale we got but I would have changed the ending big time. Here's how I would have done the ending:

Dandy kills Bette and Dot during a show while doing the cut in half trick and he screams "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT? YOU ARE ALL MAKING ME FEEL BAD!' to the horrified audience. The next morning Dandy kills all the freaks with a chainsaw but then finds Maggie who he confronts. To be able to talk to the freaks and be around the Freak Show, she had to turn herself into one. Dandy says "All my life I've tried to turn myself into one of them. But what makes you so damn special?" They get in a fight but Maggie gets the upper hand and knocks him out. She castrates him and turns him into what the Freaks turned into Stanley. Dandy actually loves it and is excited to finally be a freak but Maggie locks him in a cage leaving him to starve. She saves Desiree and Amazon Eve who were tied up and knocked out by Dandy. She kills Desiree and then Amazon Eve beats her half to death. Maggie grabs a gun and shoots Eve in the head. She hides the evidence and then prepares to saw off her legs with Dandy's chainsaw. After selling Desiree and Eve's body to the museum (to get money obviously), she makes a book like Lana did about her experiences at the Freak Show and saying the Freaks abused her and turned her into one by cutting off her legs. She is now world wide famous and goes back to her studio apartment and is haunted by Dandy, Desiree, Eve, and Jimmy's bleeding corpses in her nightmares. She wakes up, screams, takes a shower and when she gets dressed she sees Papa Legba in her living room. He takes her to her own personal hell where she is blind and only has one leg and is ridiculed for the rest of her life. She does a performance but fails at it so the Freaks push her into the audience where they scalp her and skin her alive Maniac style, all while Elsa is singing Life On Mars.

It's not good but whatever. I love Emma so I wish she got a bigger role.

Probably because Ryan doesn't know what he's doing yet.

I have a feeling he put the top hat and military stuff in Season 4 just to make us think it will be something like that when he actually has a whole different season idea.

But he doesn't have the balls to screw with fans like that.

A military subplot sounds so boring. Freakshow slayed but it left me very depressed because it was so dark and barely had any moment of happiness minus the ending and Ma Petite's presence.
