Spotify ads and payola is common for flops like Tove Lo and Zara Larsson, iTunes discounts are common for new artists like Kiiara and gnash who had them for months, everyone gets music videos, and everyone puts on performances on live TV/festivals.
ATRL just likes to highlight Pop girl flops by exaggerating their promotion
