It was one of the highlights of the whole performance, in reference to some other performances, meaning Taylor doesn't need to jump to seize attention, actually her excellent performance proved it. I'm sure we will see more positive reviews tomorrow.
I just found out that the "people are getting bitten by snakes" line was a reference to Nicki Minaj. I thought it was because of the chef that just got killed by that cobra.
I agree with that. And since there were so many of them, the camera kept showing a wide-angle view to fit them all in, which meant you could barely see Taylor.
I love the performance, but it would have been even better if it was shot right.
