i'm not scared of big spiders, i'm only scared of the highly venomous ones, because i know the vast majority of big spiders can't really hurt me. the ones to watch out for are the ones that look like black widows, funnel-webs (which are only in australia, but...), brown recluses, or the horrifying abomination known as the brazilian wandering spider.
if a big spider bites you it'll hurt like a ****ing bitch but it won't do any serious damage
