Lord sounds strained on every note She attempts when She makes pop music. The "take me out" bridge of Style is terrible and cringeworthy because of this. Thankfully, She figured out the secrets to hiding Her vocal by the time She made Wildest Dreams.
Katy can sound like a good vocalist in the studio, if she lip-synced more throughout her career, she could probably be seen as a decent singer. But at least she tries, A+ for effort.
Britney would have been better off if she worked her way into lip syncing (or at least using it in a realistic way) instead of rushing straight into no more singing by Blackout/Circus. I guess it is understandable though. She had an okay voice when she was younger, shame it has probably withered away into nothingness. Gone with the wind.
Gaga will have a triumphant return if everything keeps flopping numbers-wise, so I'm fine with that. Katy and Gaga can coexist (as long as they don't release a week apart from each other).
