Marry the Night 8.5/10 - I was honestly a bit disappointed when I heard it at first, but it is truly a grower. A great intro the album, & serves its purpose as an intro: to give a taste of what the album is truly capable of. However, having said, this definently needs to be released as a single. This got an extra 1.5 points for that beat at the ends #dealwitit
Born This Way 6/10 - The worst song on the album. The production is too much & it does not have the replayability of her other songs. To be honest, I haven't listened to this in weeks. It does nothing for me. How I wish she hadn't made it seem like the second coming of Jesus.
Government Hooker 10/10 - Perfection. The opera intro, the haunting techno beat, her vocals, the hoooookkawwwww chant. It's new terrority for her & she delivered the best possible results. Single please.
Judas - 10/10 Perfection. The verses are so different, the techno-breakdown at 2:40, & my favorite single released by her thus far. What a shame the public has ignored art.
Americano 9/10 - Very cool, & very different. Again, new terrority on this again, which is why I love this album so well. Frankly, no one else could make this work. +0.5 for bilingual lyrics.
Hair 8.5/10 - The hate this song is receiving is ridiculous. My personal favorite part is the the stuttering of the word hair & the second verse. The chorus is also humungous. But overall, while not nearly a highlight of the album, this definently deserves credible recognition in her discography.
ScheiBe 10/10 - Perfection. The German chants, the "dark" sound of it, the "mission-condition-permission" spoken of word part. Everything just WORKS, & this lets everyone knows that what is going on in GaGa's head is brilliance. I want this as a single. Also, this is the track I most immediatley loved.
Bloody Mary 10/10 - Perfection. And frankly, bloody brilliant. This is such a refreshing sound for pop music, & who else but GaGa could deliver it like this? It makes me feel like I'm on a cloud. The production is incredibly notable here.
Bad Kids 8/10 - Seems a bit like filler at first, but it has its own nice qualities. Very, very 80s, but through a time machine into the new decade. This song is very fit for a night out.
Highway Unicorn (Road to Love) 6.5/10 - The beginning >>>>. I knew I would dislike this song, & I was right. It seems like the only filler on this album, & it drags on. Honestly, I found it boring. Oh well.
Heavy Metal Lover 10/10 - Even more perfection. Perfect use of autotune effect on certain vocals of hers, the beat is absolutely orgasmic, & like BM, it makes you feel like you're on a cloud. I see single potential in this as well.
Electric Chapel 9/10 - Not perfect, but very cool sounding nonetheless. Love the rock influences on this, & has GaGa venturing even farther into the rock/pop genre (that she's doing better than her competition #00p)
You & I 10/10 - I was not expecting this to slay me so hard. The production gives the excellent, EXCELLLEENNT vocals & lovely lyrics a whole new life & meaning. This should've closed the album, not TEOG.
The Edge of Glory 7.5/10 - I honestly think this gets boring after a couple listens. The only extremely-hyped song I was disappointed in besides the title track. The beginning is excellent, but it is too long & there is something missing from it, but I can't quite put my finger on it. This should NOT be the next single. but it is
