S2 as a whole was a mess. You could feel the perfect flow in S1 that was lost in S2. The last season finale was good though.

It got better in the middle of the season, after the fake Amanda died.

It's gotten much better since they added Justin. He's playing Patrick, Victoria's firstborn son.

Yes, there is.

It was bound to plummet in quality. The previous writers left - one died and the other one has her own show now and now the Dexter writers took the show over with this season.
