MKIA has already had a lot of promo here in America(Worldwide too) with a Single banner, an album banner,(mainly helps MKIA) Dancing with the stars and a bunch of smaller shows like The Today Show and The View. While an AMA's performance would help it have more staying power I don't really think it would help it peak any higher on the Hot 100.

After the AMA's performance MKIA would go back into the bottom half of the Top 10...it wouldn't instantly go Top 5 and it wouldn't get a better peak then it would have without it. MKIA's biggest issue is the radio support not recognition...nearly everybody already knows the song exists by now and it just has to grow on people and radio needs to support it more.

They would just be delaying the drop instead of promoting a huge hit. Yes, there would be other shows to perform WDKY on, but to think if we are able to get WDKY on the AMA and then all these other promos for WDKY it would be a sure top 5 hit

I think 'Stronger' will flop as the second single

I think 'Dark Side' should be the second single with 'I Forgive You' as 3rd. And if she's going to release a 4th I think she should go for an epic ballad 'Honestly' or a controversial public appeal song 'You Can't Win'.

Not only would it be a Top 5 hit but it would help What Doesn't Kill You to have staying power.

If you think about it Mr. Know It All is a type of song that will grow on people and have staying power anyway but with WDKY it could be like MLWSWY...peak fast and fall quickly. If they promote it a lot it could end up having both a high peak and staying power like the Singles form Breakaway.

Why do you say that? lol. OFC Stronger will be an obvious smash. If MKIA can reach top 10 on BB, top 16 on Mediabase...it can do higher than that, IMO. I'm predicting top 5 peak at worst.. Its going to be the next anthem, ala Firework. Dark Side is better as a third single, and I Forgive You should stay as an album track. I agree You Can't Win should be a single at some point..
