I haven't played TS4 since for over a year now
I tried playing TS3 a couple of times but ezach time I wanted to played with TONS of CC and each time my game slowed down, glitched and crashed a lot it was so annoying but I'd feel like my game is too empty without CC, I just wish there was a way to have both loads of CC and a quick crash free game
Just installed TS3 + all EP/SP (Expect that Katy thing don't @me) since I got a new laptop + wanted to play sims. I'm still putting off TS4 till it fleshes out more with more EPs/GPs, and luckily they seem to be adding a lot of great content. I just wanted to play a full game.
Bridgeport is HEAVEN. Why is it the only "city" in the game? (You can count Roaring Height I guess)
I play Sims 2 or 3, but mostly 3 now. I love the personalities and the lots in 2, but I love how in depth I can design my characters in 3 plus the open world..together it adds a great layer to the game that makes it easier to tell stories.
Should I buy Sims 4 or just redownload my Sims 3 stuff? I'm going home for the first time in a while and could put them on my laptop.
Well it depends on your play style. The Sims 4 focuses more on completing tasks to unlock skills and certain objects, and there isn't much focus on family play yet. Some people have said there isn't much to do in the base game of sims 4 (and I agree), while others are completely fine telling their limited and basis stories. Personally I prefer TS3, go with that!
I used to play in the Vice City mod in TS3, it was awesome, but I only can have two or three active families in town, with more, the game crashes all the time.
After seeing a thread earlier about TS4 I started playing again today. I'm probably in the small minority here but I prefer TS4 over TS3 as no matter what I played that game on it was buggy/laggy as ****. I've had barely any problems with TS4 so far!
I never tried CC worlds because most of them required a bunch of EPs and the laptop could only handle 3 EPs and 1 SP otherwise it would behave like ATRL's server
