Diss tracks aren't uncommon in the rap community though. I love them they usually bring those good "F U" type songs that you need to bring out when you just ain't having no one's **** that day.
tbh I actually do hate diss tracks. Rap is a genre I'll just never get into and I don't know why.
For me it's like Every genre >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> heavy metal, rap, country (at least modern )
I grew up around rap, like my two older brothers LOVED Jay-Z, Eminem, DMX, Tupac, Biggie, etc. so I would always hear their music cause I didn't really develop my own music taste by that time. So I kind of learned to enjoy it I guess.
Then I learned to like Lil Kim a little bit, Missy, and recently Nicki Minaj. Miss. Banks isn't too bad, and I have this taste in MGK I can't explain.
