It is one though. It's not the best thing since sliced bread but much better than bland, uninspired films from The Conjuring to The Boy Next Door that hit theaters. The concept was used in an awesome way and it had a sadistic, mean sense of humor to it with everyone dying. The characters felt very real and it was just really enjoyable to me and a lot of people.
I get if you didn't like it, but I hope you don't diss it while liking such films like The Conjuring which other horror fans do.
