Aren't "You & I" and "The Edge of Glory" 'soft' enough?
Enough with these "soft" and preachy songs. It's time for her to release something that made her big in the first place. "Hair" is too bland and cheesy.

I'm SICK of people harping on "Born This Way." It's a damn good album - the sales and the critiques match this. Seriously - it's like it's suddenly cool to rag on Gaga this era now. It's becoming overwhelmingly tiresome...to the point that most of us (that are level-headed) don't even bother arguing about it anymore.
"4" is a damn good album - I purchased it. "Femme Fatale" is a damn good album - I purchased it. "21" is a damn good album - I purchased it. "Body Talk" is a damn good album - I purchased it. "Born This Way" is a damn good album - I purchased it.
"Teenage Dream" isn't a good album - I didn't purchase it. "Cannibal" isn't a good album - I didn't purchase it.
There's always been **** on the radio. Look at any decade, and you will find shiite. I just feel as though saying "music these days isn't as good as it used to be" has become a massive cliché.

No honestly, the majority of 'chart topping' pop is throwaway, yes there are gems here and there but most of it is better suited to the rubbish tip then the ears.

I think it's a good thing that she's not spoken about it AT ALL really. I know nothing about it...which makes it more exciting. I am expecting gaga to fly a motorbike above the audience's heads though....it's just too obvious.

I knew gaga "got" what pop music was about...when she discussed The Fame monster cover and how her record company thought it wasn't "pop" because it was too dark...but she said dark is pop because "pop is everything" (I think that's what she said). I mean I love Britney...but her Nsync and Backstreet boys kinda dragged the word POP through the mud in the 90s...it became pop = manufactured which is not pop...it's one strand of pop. If a song has a big chorus it is pop...The Beatles always described themself as a pop band ya know. Pop is very diverse in the same way Rock is.
