I'm sure her label is thrilled. "Birthday Cake" is rising on iTunes and Talk That Talk is higher than I've seen it in a long time on iTunes esp on a Tues/Wed with new releases. Radio is playing her songs just as they ever had, and the negativity in the press is minimal. Her management is clearly behind it, and you forget that they work for her. Not the other way around. Her sponsors don't care because they already know that with signing Rihanna her association with the incident and Chris. The general public is not effected in the same that a few online stans are. Frankly, it's completely fabricated "backlash".

The industry doesn't care, the media cares a little just for now, her online stans/rival-fanbases care too much.

Now I know everyones feelings are raw right now and It may come off like all that music was in Vain and for nothing if she just collaborated with her Abuser 3 years later, but IMO those feelings were completely real. What happened 3 years ago to Rihanna WAS a real thing, it wasn't a publicity stunt, and the music she made for Rated R sure as hell wasn't.

Now it may look like that now, but people and feelings change in a years time, especially THREE years time. She has clearly forgiven Chris, and though she probably isn't back with him right now and maybe never will be; these remixes are some sort of Therapy for her. This to me was the final step of leaving that **** behind and starting fresh.
