YES!
it's a perfect idea.
i was a little hesitant about it at first, but after talking to a few people--
it REALLY makes sense.
the thing is, for this debut album, she needs to get as MANY people to hear her has possible--
it's easy to see that she's beginning to change her sound and make pop records, but at the same time, she can't abandon her core audience, which is the urban/rap audience.
she keeps going to release these pop songs, she'll alienate the people who have supported her from the beginning, and sell more SINGLE than albums--
buuuuut if she releases the raw, gritty urban songs, there isn't a promise that she'll get play from pop stations.
she just needs to do this for the debut though--
so many people want to hear so many things from her.
next album, she'll be big enough to release whatever she wants.
except some of the been-a-fans, well the stubborn ones..
