tbh, if it was just going to be her feeling herself on a chair it was for the best to not release a video. no need to do cheap stuff just for higher chart positions. there's plenty of others in the pop world that does that.
maybe WWWY just wasn't the best single choice, esp not as 2nd single. i've thought about it a long time. it's an amazing song, it def helps selling the album and it will (is already) be a big AC format hit plus is a live staple.
but if it were to really be a single it should've been 3rd, we needed a more uptempo song as 2nd single, 2 rather slow and long ballads in a row wasn't smart. WUTB would've been perfect imo, ppl want bops from Adele too.
since GP tend to have a short memory, they may even think of adele as the one with slow, beautiful big voiced ballads. and the younger audience aint clicking with it. just that Hello seems to be this phenomenon that allows no other comparable song to grow. i mean alot of todays pop consumers were even too young to really dig or even remember RITD
so bring on WUTB, but it's sad cuz it makes WWWY look more like a loser than it should or is.
