Ok..so here's "Don't Close Your Eyes" by Keith Whitley..the song is a classic country hit from 1988! It's been covered by the likes of Alan Jackson, Kellie Pickler and Garth Brooks (Da King ahah).
I wanted to do something different...
I guess since there's not a "country theme" I could try some country..lol

I wanted to do some poppy 80's ish..but I just didn't have the time... My 90's week will be stellar! ahah

So yeah... I meant to send out a reminder this morning that entries were due tonight, but I was running a little behind for classes and I didn't have the time. For this reason, I'm extending the deadline to tomorrow at noon.

Also, voting will be done by members and a judge weight. I'm going to ask judges to rank you all from 1-10. #1 will get 10 pts added to their votes, #2, 9 and so forth. Basically if all the judges rank 1 participant #1 they'd get a total of 30 pts added to their # of member votes. May I suggest that you all give a little shameless self-promo across the forum to garner votes. Oh and elimination probably won't be until Saturday. I'll be busy tomorrow night.

I'm sorry! I have a lot of important exams this week! I have to hand in an assignment today, I'll try to record afterwards. I can understand if that's too late but really wasn't able to find the time to record a song earlier..

Submit because 2 people were originally supposed to be cut this week. It's not a big deal. Eliminations won't even talk place until tomorrow.

My thought was that maybe we could change the R&B theme to an American music theme? Both R&B and country are predominantly American markets. It would just make it easier and offer a wider range of choice. I mean I don't really know anything about R&B music tbh
