Didn't she already though with that Mickey Mouse March?
If they can't come to a compromise, then Hilary's promo and numbers are just going to go down. Pretty soon she won't be getting her own tour any more.
If Hilary can't get out of her record contract, then Hollywood Records could really kill her numbers when it comes to her sales. If it gets too drastic, then pretty soon only her fans are going to know that she has an album out. While she does have really good numbers worldwide, if her numbers keep going down, she's probably going to find that while she may be getting offers from other labels, the offers aren't as good as they were before.
She needs to be careful though. She's walking a very fine line. You don't want to tick off your record company, because she could get a reputation of being hard to work with. Plus, there are other artists on the label that are going to be able to outsell her if they continue getting all of this massive promo while she gets cut.

Not at all. The "Mickey Mouse March" was covered for Mickey Mouse's 80 th anniversary & for a new mobile phone that came out yesterday in Japan. It actually has nothing to do with Disney USA & will not be promoted here.
I do agree, that Hollywood Records may try to turn everything on Hilary & make it seem like she doesn't appreciate them & is hard to work with. The thing that sucks is that Hilary has every right to fight for what she believes she should do, her record company has done a terrible job promoting her & as far as singles go. The fact that every album that sells 200k now from HR, gets 2 singles, shows a lot of how they have treated Hilary in the past. Cancelling a ton of singles, calling her self-titled album a flop (when it had sold a very healty 1.5 million at the time), it must be very frustrating.
I have a feeling that Hilary is the type of person that doesn't like to quit something, no m atter how she's treated. That's probably why she hasn't left HR, besides the amount of freedom she gets for her album & how much she's paid.
The thing is that she didn't start fighting until now, HR simply doesn't care about doing promo for their artists that are not on Disney Channel. Her "Dignity" album was mistreated & she took notice of that, which is why she's getting so defensive now, about what she wants to record & what HR wants to do with her. So the promo has been lacking for some time now. This sucks, because there's no denying that Hilary, while not the most talented artist on HR, is the most profitable, most mainstream & has the most potential to outlast all the other Disney stars.
I do hope that they can compromise, I'd hate to see Hilary treated unfairly again while all the other newcomers continue to be treated in the way that she deserves.
^if that happens, Hilary better fight with Hollywood! She doesn't need to care on what people will say about her attitude, because it's Hollywood that made terrible things to Hilary!
Hollywood, please wake up!
If Hollywood continue to do this on Hilary, I might hate some of their artists like Vanessa Hudgens and Jesse McCartney.
Oh, Tim.. Sorry, but I just don't like the way Hollywood is treating Hilary, than treating Vanessa, Jesse or any of their artists. I love Jesse and V both, but of course you know that I love Hilary more.
I just said that statement because I'm really pissed on HR now, but I will NEVER hate Jesse and V, because I've been attached to their music now.
HR is giving to much support to other artists like V, Jesse, all the high school musical cast and Hannah faketana but they have forgotten about Hilary
Stupid HR!!!!

I think Hillary needs a better label... she should try and get on Sony BMG or something, but i don't know if they would take her on or not.
I've seen tons of pics of that greta movie ....I am already excited to watch it ....I've haven't seen to the princess in the big screen a few years already.......so it's TIME

I agree about Miley but don't act like Hilary didn't get any support from Hollywood. Hollywood Records is &*%# but she isn't the only artists they have given the shaft too.
Jesse had a platinum selling album in the US and the minute his first single flopped on his 2nd album and his sales weren't too good they pulled the promotion and he went back to the studio. Hilary at least got somewhat of a chance to save and promote Dignity. And as for the HSM cast...I don't even think Corbin is at 300K in the US. The guy had music videos but most of his stuff wasn't even sent for radio ads. He is stuck doing a bunch of songs for DCOM movies. And Vanessa...she only had somewhat decent promotion for her first single and she got very little promotion outside of Disney for her 2nd single. 1 radio interview for her 2nd single...thats all they had her do.
Now, I assume you are complaining out the upcoming releases....Hollywood seems to have upped Raven, Jesse, and Vanessa's promotion for their upcoming releases. But it is really sink or swim for them. You can possibly place a really good bet on them getting released from the label if they can't sell or they will get no promotion for their 2nd single (if they get one) or next albums. Their future with the label rides on their upcoming albums. New artists are coming up all the time on Disney. Hilary is somewhat lucky because she was the Disney Queen for a while just like Miley is now. But you can also bet that pretty soon Miley is going to be in the same situation Hilary is in now. Miley will eventually have to deal with the next Disney Queen and she will be wanting to grow as an artists and HR will try to hold her back.
OMG Hollywood records is being stupid. Hilary doesn't need Disney she is doing just fine without them.
I want a DVD for Dignity Tour, most of the fans wan't one!
also new album i can't wait but maybe she should move onto another record label..
totally agree about HR being d!ckheads with the princess....she is lke the best selling artists that crappy record label ever has..... and giving like no promotion to her is totally not fair....
and yeah we need a concert DVD ASAP.....it will really make me so unhappy if the don't release it.....
about the new album....idk when is gonna end the deal with HR, but she need to get rid of them....how come an sucessful singer like hil never get more that 2 singles....and flop artists (not saying names xD) always get 3-5 singles

HR thought that a music video for "Stranger" would automatically up sales for "Dignity" when that is not the case. The only promo she got other than one radio appearance was one (maybe two, I forgot) appearances. That was the SYTYCD appearance. With JUST that one TV appearance she was able to debut the following week on the Hot 100 at #97, which basically proved that will a little more promo, & if the song had been sent for radio adds, she would have done a lot better. Also, more proof was that over 3 months after the video was released, the song was able to reach #82 on the Mediabase charts. It was such a shame, really.
Jesse was also treated unfairly as well, he had a big argument with them & almost left, but yeah, money was able to overcome that.
& poor Corbin, he only sold a mere 110k+ from his debut. HR relied on the fact that he was a part of HSM, but the truth was he hadn't established a fanbase yet. If his album had been released a month or two after HSM 2 had come out & with some more promo, I can guarantee that he would have sold A LOT more.
Dignity was a good album but its obvious without disney she just isnt going to make it.
Miley is the new Hilary
She can easily make it without Disney. I mean without Disney, she's had her most successful and popular single, got amazing radio play, successful tour, and an album selling 950,000+ copies. The problem is, she didnt get promotion from her label, they set up a couple of TV appearances, and she sold this much on that alone, think how much she would've sold with promotion!
Miley is the new Lizzie McGuire, the new Disney fad. Not Hilary.
