it doesn't matter how and when Riri's Anti has been released, the sales are way too low for her standards. She hardly did 500K worldwide and the album is out since late January.
Yes, the release strategy's been nothing but a mess and by that we could definitely blame the industry (and the cursed tidal in particular), but yet, I expected her to sell A BUNCH more.
It's her comeback moment after not being around with an album for long. she's out there with a hit single and people are talking about her. not to mention that the album is getting warm reviews.
I'm sorry, you can't say she's selling.
all she needs is a solid promotional campaign while being on tour and to release Needed Me and Love on the Brain in parrallel to sell the album.

I hope she sees those comment that everyone is calling her a flop and that this would make her think about any strategy for the album. She seems like she doesnt care but everyone else cares
