Yeah. This beat Music. I don't think it's as bad as some people say it is, and I actually can enjoy her overly ridiculous rap bridge, but it should not have been this far. All the other songs we've seen today are better. It was critically panned, and a flop in America, though a very modest hit WW and in Europe.
This is a lot better. It's definitely most Madonna stans' favorite non-single from her eponymous debut. The synths are some kind of heaven, and Madonna manages to make one night stands feel like some kind of inspirational. It's great stuff. It has less ballots than American Life, but I just couldn't put it behind. Just. Couldn't.
Another great one I didn't get to vote for. It's one of the slower, Folk-tronica inspired songs on Music. It has an enchanting melody, and Madonna manages to not seem pretentious while revealing herself. It's really great, and has aged terrifically if I do say so.
