It's worth splitting the Atlantic periods in two. When she first signed to Atlantic, she was wooed by the A&R Aaron Bay-Shuk, who was crazy about her and determined to make her a star (I mean, look at this IG post). But then he left Atlantic like 7 months later and JoJo, without anyone important fighting her corner at Atlantic, went to the back of the queue. As usual with her career, just terrible luck. During the Tringle, Atlantic' also sucked.
For whatever reason, perhaps it was the sold-out tour that showed she still has a fanbase or perhaps a new A&R, it's clear that they have put a lot more effort into her since then. This also may be partly down to the fact that she clearly had a clear direction from Jan. They got her in the studio with some interesting people: e.g., Justin Tranter has 3 songs on the album; he has only written that many for Britney, Gwen, Selena and Hailee Steinfeld.
I think the album rollout (music direction, first single, video, cover art, date between single and album, etc.) has all been pretty flawless, while the 727 tour was clearly a success. It a) got some of the younger fans to know who tf she is. b) was the vehicle for this radio tour. The main problem, as Truth Teller said, is radio. They won't play her track, nor does she seem to be able to book the bigger iHeart stations for promo. Don't forget "Here" was released in April, yet didn't even crack the top 100 until August last year. She needs to build.
The Wonderland performance shows that, now the tour has ended, the TV promo is starting. Let's see what they've got in store now.

Atlantic is doing a good job. They've booked her a whole lot of interviews, plus incredible radio promo. They also gave her a release date without a hit or even the promise of a hit, which is the best treatment anyone can get from a major label. The problem is that radio is being extremely hesitant and that will take a whole lot of time to resolve.
I'm gonna need Atlantic to have figured their situation with VEVO by the time the second single comes out though

I screamed at the truth of this.

This song is SO FREAKING GOOD. Seriously one of the best tracks released all year. And soooo radio friendly. I can't believe radio won't even touch it.

3 adds on pop! It's good enough to keep her going for another week!
EDIT : When I clicked to see the stations, AllAccess lists 5 instead of 3. Two of them are small iHeart stations too! I'll refresh in a while to see what's really going on!

At least it's still getting Adds. At this point I don't even think Radio gave WLH the time of the day. How much adds does she have in all? 30?

5 ADDS!
They updated! I'm so happy! 5 stations are definitely good enough to keep her going. I hope all 5 support her this week!

Its starters page on AllAccess is one of the biggest I've ever seen for any song by a non-radio darling tbh

You KNOW I'm concerned about the sh**ty bullet, why you had to bump this to go in on me?
**** Apologies is an important single and WILL prevail. It's already outperformed WLH anyway.
Btw, if her bullet goes negative today, I'm blaming YOU

Did she get 0 spins this time last week?
I noticed quite a few radio stations tweeting about her yesterday, so I was expecting this. Hopefully it continues.
