Team 2's is odd to me. I understand the emotional appeal of it, but I think it's very clear they were hindered by inactive team members, and although the song is sweet, it feels a little subpar to what it could be.

Oh, if you're talking about the verses/pre-chorus/chorus, thank you! I don't really understand the "smoke and mirrors" business because taking like an hour to come up with guitar chords and pasting in a GarageBand drum kit really wasn't a huge deal and was just for laughs. (Although I did record the vocals a few times until they were perfect.) I really thought at least one other team would do it. But I appreciate the compliment either way!

This was my first one actually I just recorded it with guitar at first (as you heard from the first track I sent you so you could get started on the lyric video), but as I was mixing the vocals/rap with the guitar track, I just thought to drag in a GarageBand drum kit sample and then decided to use a diff one in the verse since it was a bit more mellow. Once I had the drum kits in I realized that my guitar playing didn't have perfect timing so I had to re-record it, but I just listened to the beat and played along on my guitar and it was easy.

My day job is leading a children's choir (and obvs. singing to them to show them the right key/pitch, etc.) but nice try anyway. I would say being a bitter ass hater isn't for you, but it seems like you actually excel in that role.
